The Perfect Period With Menstrosan
Period panties have been a game changer for me. I absolutely love them and encourage all my lady friends to make the change! Not only are they at least one million times more comfortable than wearing a pad (or any of the other alternatives, in my humble opinion), but they have showed to reduce cramps, are so much better for the environment — sustainability for the win with not having to throw away tons of one time period products, they are much cheaper than having to buy pads every month — most panties can last for years with proper care, and they have gotten pretty cute! For once women don’t have to dread their time of the month!
Speaking of sustainability, my current collection of period underwear is finally dying after seven years. The brand I was using was not as thoughtful as I would have liked about PFAS; ergo I have been on the hunt for a new brand of period panties. It was almost serendipitous when I connected with Menstrosan at the International Pole Sport Federation competition this year in Sweden!
I was super excited to connect with Menstrosan as they are a new eco friendly Swedish period panties brand that is PFAS free! It was also a plus that they are a fan of pole dancers! After a passionate discussion about women’s needs and period health they convinced me to try their underwear. I am a low rise kinda gal so I took two of their low rise panties and they convinced me to to give their thong a go (I am not a thong girl!)!
From first touch you can quickly tell that these panties are lighter than some of the others, all of the absorption is just at the bottom of them, which makes them very comfortable. So comfortable that the ladies of Menstrosan will tell you that they wear their panties all month long, which is actually kinda nice because they experience less change when their period does arrive! I was curious how the Menstrosan panties would handle my heaviest day, especially since the area of absorption was smaller than I was use to. I have to say, I think it did a better job than my previous options. There was zero hint of a leak! I’m not sure if I’m ready to test the tong on my heaviest day yet, maybe if I am working from home that day. But I am a lot more confident and comfortable than ever with my new Menstrosan panties!
Onto appearance, just because I’m on my period doesn’t mean I don’t want to look cute! I found the briefs to be very flattering on my stomach line and the tong is actually kinda sexy!!
