Where are you based?
Hi, I live in Los Angeles CA.

What inspired your career in the entertainment industry?
I love to perform. I really enjoy entertaining people and I pretty much always have. I enjoy the creative aspect of bringing characters to life and telling stories. Telling stories is something that I always do even when I am not on set or actively working on an audition scene. I make up different stories on my own, sometimes turning them into one-man shows for my brother and mom. Honestly, though, I really love being on set and being with such creative people.

Can you tell us more about your character in TEACUP?
My character in Teacup is a lot of fun to play essentially, I am playing two characters.  Arlo is a regular kid who like most children is mischievous and depends on his family.  Harbinger is different, he is new to this place and has a harder time communicating. He is trying to protect himself from the invaders.  It was fun to grow my relationship between the two characters and show how Arlo grew to trust Harbinger.

What do you hope audiences will take away from TEACUP when they watch it?
This is such an interesting story.  The characters have so many different stories going on all the while trying to survive something that wants to kill them.  It shows how strong and united we can be when we band together.  I love the way Ian wrote these characters and all the relationships, it is like a really good book and every time I rewatch an episode I see something new.

How has the experience of working on a TV series been different from your previous work on General Hospital and Single Parents
Well, I think working on Teacup was different because, in my previous roles, I was younger. Additionally, I was not a series regular; so, I did not get to create as much of a character.

We heard that you and your family volunteer every Thanksgiving at a shelter for Westside Thanksgiving. What inspired this tradition, and what has it taught you about giving back to the community?
Giving back is an important thing to do in my family.  I believe that spreading joy and happiness will make the world a kinder place.  My mom really started this tradition because it was something she liked to do when she was a kid.  I think what she has taught me, is that, at the end day, a smile and kindness can really be the change.  It might be selfish to say this, but when I make someone else smile it makes me smile too.

How was this year’s Thanksgiving at the shelter?
Unfortunately, my mom was sick this year, so we are going to help prepare meals at the Children’s Hunger Fund on a different day.

Is there a particular memory or moment from volunteering that has stayed with you?
I remember one year when we were serving my mom, my brother and I got invited to eat at the same table as the people we were serving.  My brother thanked one of the men sitting next to us for being a war veteran and then they started talking about planes and I told a few jokes.  Another year I was too young to help serve the food, so I got to help serve the kids and families in the game area.  It was an experience that has stayed with me.

Giving back is such a wonderful way to connect with the community. How has this tradition influenced your perspective on gratitude and service personally?
Showing gratitude is important because maybe just one smile can brighten up their world and people say a smile is the most contagious thing in the world because once one person smiles, another person smiles, and then another, and then another.. it's pretty much a chain reaction.

What advice would you give to someone looking to get involved in volunteer work but unsure where to start?
Don’t be afraid to go serve I have some of the fondest happiest memories making dry food packets to ship to an impoverished family somewhere in the world. While it might not seem like a big deal to you, to somebody it might mean the world.

As you continue to grow in your career, what types of roles or projects are you most excited to pursue in the future?
Well, I want Teacup do get a lot more seasons, but I think it would be cool to do a comedy show or film because a lot of people tell me I’m pretty funny. I love being on set; so, any job I can do, I want to do. A soundstage is my favorite place in the world!

Are there any upcoming projects you would like to share?
I am currently voicing a couple of animation series. But this industry is a crazy one, I could wake up tomorrow and hear I have to fly to Budapest or some other neat location.

It has been a crazy past few years, how have you been staying positive?
Well, one of the reasons I’ve been staying positive is that I have a lot of pets, whether it’s my Guinea pig, Oliver, who unfortunately died, and my cats, who were little strays when we got them, but are now spoiled. My family is very close, we always have each other’s backs because we do a lot of things together and are rarely apart.

What is your motto in life?
Well, my motto is probably, what’s gonna happen is gonna happen, we don’t have any control over it.
