Where are you based?
I’m based in Los Angeles but originally from the Bay Area.

When and how did you start dancing?
My mom felt me dancing in her belly. I grew up around dance and music constantly in the house. My Step-Father really encouraged music and dancing in our home growing up. I’ve loved dancing my whole life.

What’s your favorite style of dancing when you want to feel good?
I really enjoy all forms of dance but love Hip-Hop and Twerking the most.

You are an avid believer in twerking out. When did you begin twerking and what drove you to create twerk out, your virtual course?
Yes. I love to dance but hate working out! In 2014 I came up with a fun work program called TwerkOut! A class that would be fun for people to work out and help build confidence. Classes quickly filled up especially after having private lessons with Chanel West Coast and Christina Milian. I love traveling all over the world teach my class to so many.  Online classes became available shortly after so people could work out from the comfort of their homes.

Tell us about twerking as a workout routine and a source of empowerment. What do you love most about it?
Seeing women learn to do things they thought their bodies couldn’t do. How much confidence students get after my class. I love seeing women come in the class not knowing what to expect then seeing the smile on their faces and sweat from a great Twerk Out! Students thank me after class for the confidence boost the class brought them.

In addition to twerking, you are a pole dancer. How did you get into pole?
I wouldn’t consider myself a pole dancer. I love to play with the pole at home. It’s really hard but so much fun!

Both twerking and pole have been shadow banned over the social media platforms. What are your thoughts on this and getting the general population to be more accepting of these art forms?
I started TwerkOut in 2014 but people have been enjoying the moves for so many generations before me. If people don’t like it they can simply watch something else they do enjoy.

Not only are you an electrifying dancer, but an equally amazing singer. What inspired you to get into singing? Did dancing influence your desire to become a recording artist?
I came out of the womb singing. My first love and passion is to sing.

Last year you released your first album, Baddie Vibez. I have to tell you, we’re obsessed. How did the idea for your album come into fruition?
The relationship I was in during quarantine had lots of inspiration towards Baddie Vibez. And some past relationships sprinkled in there.

What’s your favorite song from Baddie Vibez? Why?
My favorite song is “Die Before You Love Me”!!! Tells my story of the journey during the music industry. Baddie Vibes is another song I love as it consists of feel-good music, good collaboration with Justin Love, It’s a song that works well for radio, Everyone needs to play this Record!!!

Baddie Vibez is upbeat, sexy and hip-hop. When did you first get into rapping?
I actually recorded my first rap song when I was 19. Called “Supa Dupa.”

Baddie Vibez is unapologetically confident and full of feminist, hot girl energy. What was your main goal in creating this album?
My goal was to express myself in a different way than I have in other singles/ albums. I was able to express myself in a different light and talk shit!

You’re on a similar wave as artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Cardi B. Through your music, you own your sexuality and you’re confident about it. Many women struggle with their self esteem, with who they are and how they are expected to be. How did you get to where you are right now? What advice would you give to girls and women struggling with their self esteem?
Date someone who is confident and encourages your confidence!!!! I don’t need a man to make me happy but to have someone you love and who loves you for you and supports your dreams is magical!!! My man lets me do me and supports me without being jealous, just supportive.

How can we use our online platforms to fight towards a cause we’re committed to?
I use my platforms to spread creativity and speak out for the causes I care about. I love empowering women to be their best selves and feel comfortable in their hot bods!

Are there any new projects, activist, artistic, or both, that you’re working and would like to share with Jejune?
I’m working on dropping a new album that will be filled with epic collaborations. I’m also working on expanding my merch.

How are you staying positive during lockdown?
Meeting the Man of my Dreams, working my ass off on my new album, and creating my OnlyFans.

What’s your motto in life?
Hate to sound Cliché but YOLO is the way to go!
