When did you start your Jewelry Company?
The company was established in 2013 but seriously focused since 2016.

Where are you based?
The Design Studio/Atelier is in the small coastal town of Wilmington, NC.

Please tell us about your jewelry line?
My jewelry line is inspirered by my love of accessories and my background as a passementerie designer in the home fashion industry. Most of my jewelry uses techniques and even historical and elaborate motifs that was once for either garments and/or home decor.

What inspired you to create this collection?
Well this Sunburst Necklace came about as a result of experimenting with different fringe techniques and asking myself my usuals “What If?”

Please tell us about your pieces that are vegan?
What are they made of?
The Sunburst Necklace, is a total statement piece with such an eclectic feel. It can give the bohemian girl the right touch of fringe, yet it can be luxurious and elegant in a very distinct way. They are made in Italy with Vegan Leather.

What motivated you to create a sustainable collection?
Sustainability has many aspects, one is the type of materials used, the other aspect is the quantities of material being used. The vegan leather gives me the flexibility to produce the exact quantity needed. I have my products made on demand, I pay more by hand producing in small batches by crafting in small companies around the world.

Where are your pieces sold besides online?
There a few boutiques that carry my line.

Do any celebrities wear your jewelry?
As of right now no celebrities, but I love hearing women when they tell me that they feel like a Goddess when wearing the Sunburst necklace and that is such an amazing feeling for me.

Does any of your South American background Influence your designs?
Yes, my travels in general have a big impact and influence in my design and in my life in one way or another.

I have not been back to my country in 10 years or so, it is definitely in not only my list to travel but also my family lives there. But I do travel to Europe and Asia a lot and combining those travel experiences with my cultural background has been a big part on how I approach my designs in general.
