February 2010 Milan Fashion Week
4. Where did you learn to design RTW?
When I studied fashion design for womens ready to wear at Central Saint Martins in London.
5. Please describe your experiences after studying fashion design?
It has been a constant growing process, one that pushed me to aim for the best and to fulfill my expectations. This process creates challenges based on the situations and a worldwide audience. Showing my pieces in some of the world’s most celebrated cities and venues forges a link between my fashion and art.
I started working for some of the world’s most celebrated design houses, including Viktor & Rolf in Amsterdam, Jean Paul Gaultier in Paris, and Brioni in Milan. When I launched my label, I won Italy’s prestigious Next Generation competition promoted by Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana.
I constantly interact with the new generation’s tastes. In addition to designing, I teach in Italy and abroad—from Milan to New York, Giordania, Vietnam, Perù, and Armenia—in the best fashion and design schools. I am also an international expert for the United Nations on CULTURE, different backgrounds and abilities. After winning the DHL Exported Award, I gained an important partnership with IMG, which brought me to permanently show collections during New York Fashion Week, on the most exclusive catwalk venues, Lincoln Center Salon, The Moynihan Station at the Dock Skylight, and Gallery 1 at Clarkson\Square.
6. How did you break away from working at big fashion houses to start on your line?
By winning competitions for a young designer, I got financial support to continue and evolve my collection.
7. Please tell us about your current Spring/Summer 2018 RTW collection?
For Spring Summer 2018, I explored the history of the feminine silhouette on an international journey through distinct historical time periods. This includes from rural America to the influence of Marie Antoinette of France to the Middle East. I look at beauty through many portals: the elemental, the minimal, the decorated, the celebrated, the intrinsic, the evocative, and the provocative.
The color Palette is intentionally controlled and precise: lightest blue, softest yellow, dirty greens, violet blue, and pink-tinged lilacs form a subdued, yet intoxicating, palette supported by dark dove grays mixed with white. Fabrication: purest cotton, French lace, and Jacquard silk.
8. Is there any message given behind this collection?
I created two signature prints for the Spring/Summer 2018 Collection. One print features watch mechanisms representing how time runs and the other features plane engines and aviators representing how time travels.
9. Please tell us about “T-Shirt For Life.” What is it?
It was a Unicef campaign to help children in the third world countries. I carried this theme throughout my collections by making a new t-shirt for solidarity purposes.
10. How did you go about organizing “T-Shirt For Life?
As an International expert for the United Nations, I am interested in the social factor and world development such as inclusion, empowerment, and sustainability. I am currently doing missions around the world. So far, I have been in Cuba, Pakistan, Armenia, Peru, Giordania, and Vietnam. I am open to help others and to participate in initiatives as "A T-shirt for Life" for the Unicef campaign against death at a young age in less developed countries or "Vogliamo O" for the climate change effecting environment and the life of our planet.
11. Why is it so important to you?
It is important that people speak up! I think it is also important that beauty and the attraction that fashion or creative fields generate underline social tops to gain people's attention in a way that they can see them.
12. Please tell us about other collaborations you have participated in?
I constantly work for important collaborations, including the Fashion project at Moulin Rouge Paris with the capsule collection Moulin Rouge by Francesca Liberatore and in many important international partnerships, including, for instance, Swarovski Elements, Saga Furs, NAFA, and FURMEYE.

14. Do any celebrities wear your collection? If so, whom?
